As Executive Director, Maxi is responsible for strategic leadership of Screwworm Free Future. He leads efforts to bring together stakeholders around the goal of screwworm control and eradication, while overseeing strategic planning and execution. Maxi is a public health scientist by training. He has worked in the leadership of technology startups, in government and multilaterals, and as an innovation funder, scaling high-impact health interventions for neglected disease areas now serving millions.






As Engagement Lead, Gabriela works to forge partnerships with governments, civil society, industry, and communities across South America. She is focused on aligning stakeholders and understanding their needs. Gabriela is a psychologist specializing in social and community development, with over 15 years of experience in non-profit organizations in Latin America. Her work has focused on creating public policies aimed at strengthening the economic and social well-being of people in vulnerable situations.






As Policy Lead, Diego oversees the organization's research agenda, collaborating with leading scientists and academics, and synthesizing data into actionable policy recommendations. Diego holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Sheffield. He has worked on policy at all levels of government and is committed to advancing initiatives that measurably benefit people and animals.
